Inside My Makeup Bag For Iceland.

Inside My Makeup Bag For Iceland.
If you didn't know already, then seriously where have you been? I go to Iceland on Saturday and I couldn't be more excited. It's been on my bucket list for the longest time, so the fact I get to spend my 25th birthday in Iceland makes me all kinds of happy. I'm going for four days and whilst I was packing to go, I thought I'd share with you what makeup products I'm taking.
Primark Primer
Primark Vitamin Primer | £3.00
I've never tried a Primark primer before, so I picked this up just to try and very quickly fell in love with it. It adds so much hydration to my skin and as Iceland is going to be really cold, I thought I'd need all the extra hydration I can get.
Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation
I used to be absolutely obsessed with foundation and recently I found myself wearing it again. Very quickly I've fallen in love with it again and I have no idea why I stopped wearing it. It leaves my skin looking flawless and gives it such a natural, healthy glow. It's lightweight yet super full coverage. I honestly wear it every day so obviously I'll be taking it to Iceland.
A versatile concealer, it's great for both highlighting the under eyes and covering blemishes - the perfect travel concealer. I'm never without this concealer, I currently have three in my collection.
Rimmel Stay Matte Powder
I'm sure it's obviously that this is one here, right? I'm my holy grail powder and I never use anything else. I've used it pretty much every day since I was about 13/14. It's cheap but it works. It keeps my makeup in place and keeps me from looking too oily. I cannot rave about this powder enough.
NYX Micro Brow Pencil
I'm all for brow pencils, I find them easier to work with. Of course, the thinner the better and this one by NYX is perfect. I actually got it for Christmas and I've used it every day since.
Benefit Gimmie Brow
Hands down, the worlds best brow gel and I am so glad this is back in my life. It makes my brows stay in place all day, without the hairs getting hard. I love that it adds little fibres to the hairs, making them look fuller too.
Benefit Hoola Contour Stick
I'm become obsessed with cream contour lately, it's much easier to use than powder and it looks more natural too. This is the only cream contour I own and honestly, it's the only one I've tried but I love it.
Too Faced Sweetie Pie Bronzer
If you'll have seen my recent post, you'll know I actually got this for Christmas from Emma. I have used this every day since I got it, so obviously I had to take it to Iceland. It's a stunning bronzer that looks so natural, I'm so glad Emma got me this - I have a full review coming next week too!
Milani Blush
My all time favourite blush, if you didn't know, it's the shade 'Luminoso' and it's a cult favourite in the blogging world. It's a stunning peach/pink toned blush and again, looks very natural on the skin.
Another cream product I've been obsessed with is highlight. I find a cream highlight just seems a little more natural and prefer it for day to day wear. Don't get me wrong, I still love a blinding highlight, just for everyday use I prefer to me a little more natural now. This one is stunning, it's champagne toned and blends easily.
Huda Beauty Warm Obsessions Palette
I've had this palette for a while now, yet I've barely used it. I thought going away would be the perfect time to really test it out, as it's the only palette I'll be taking. It's a beautiful palette and all the shades are shades I'd usually wear. I'm excited to play with it more.
Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara
My holy grail mascara. I couldn't be without it. It makes me lashes look amazing, even without lashes on. It adds so much length and volume to my lashes and I always get so many compliments whenever I have this on.
Primark Sultry Lashes
Of course I'll be taking these lashes with me, they are hands down the best lashes for the price. I will only be taking one pair, as I tend to get five uses out of a pack anyway. I love how fluttery these are, yes, there long but it's exactly how I love them. I'm obsessed.
Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray
Urban Decay All Night (Travel size) | £10.00
Hands down the best setting spray of all time. I'm actually close to running out of this, which is why I'm taking it to Iceland with me, hopefully I'll finish it there! It really does make your makeup last and stay in place all day/night.
MAC Lipstick in Honeylove
MAC Lipstick | £17.50
What other lipstick am I going to take? Honey love is by far my favourite ever lipstick, in fact it's the only lipstick I've ever had to repurchase. It's a stunning every day nude and I haven't worn it for so long so I'm excited to start wearing it again.
MAC Lip Liner in Subculture
MAC Lip Liner | £14.00
Whenever I use 'Honey love' I have to pair it with 'Subculture' so of course I'll be taking this lip liner with me. It's a gorgeous pinky nude shade and I think it compliments 'Honey love' really well.

So there it is, my makeup bag for Iceland. I am so excited to go, I can't wait for a few days away!

  4. I'll be sure to pick up that primer if I ever see it in my local branch. Both that power and concealer used to be my go-to products.
