Five Things From January.

Five Things From January.

Finally, it's the end of January! I know I'm not the only one glad to see the end of January, why does January always seem like its 4 month long? Don't get me wrong, I love January, it's my birthday month but it does go on a bit! Anyway, I'm here to share with you five things that happened in January! It was a good ol' month!
Iceland
Iceland.
Now if you didn't know already I went to Iceland for 4 days and it was fabulous. Honestly, I fell in love with the country. I've done a post all about my trip so make sure you read that - but honestly, if your thinking about going to Iceland, then do. It's beautiful.
My Birthday
I turned 25.
On the 14th January I became a quarter of a century old and honestly, it didn't bother me at all. I mean come on, I was in Iceland and got to spend my day in the Blue Lagoon, what's not to love? I was very spoilt too, I decided against doing a what I got for my birthday post, but if you'd like to see what I got, let me know and I can always feature it on my Instagram!
Go Ape
Go Ape!
I finally got to go to Go Ape! I've wanted to go for the longest time and when my friends asked what I wanted to do for my birthday this year, I just had to say Go Ape! We went to the Temple Newsham one and honestly, it was such a laugh. It was freezing mind but we enjoyed it all the same!
Drinks with the girls
I broke dry January!
I know, I know. What a failure. I managed 19 days sober before I caved, but, don't worry, I donated to the charity myself. I did enjoy myself on the night I broke it though and I don't regret breaking it. It's so hard to do dry January when your birthdays in January though!

Finally, the last thing from January is that I lost my voice! Like, it actually went. I had no voice for around 5 days and I'm sure those around me were grateful. I managed to work everyday - that was a struggle but it made me realise, I need to take better care of myself and practice self care much more!

What have you been up to in January?
